In 2018, I illustrated a walking tour map of South Philly’s refugee communities for Catzie Vilayphonh, a couple years later a curator at the Smithsonian’s Asian Pacific Center contacted the both of us and asked us for permission to feature the map for a book that they were working on. ‘Smithsonian Asian Pacific American: History, Art, and Culture in 101 Objects’ was that publication, you can find the illustration I created on page 26.
